A traditional bock beer, using 100% Munich malt and balanced with German Hallertau hops. Pours a fiery orange-garnet color with a thick, pale-orange head. The aroma is malty with a hint of the noble German hops. Maltiness dominates the flavor, but with a very complex background of hop bitterness, floral yeast character and a very intriguing nutty quality. Very drinkable! Great with sauce-based meat dishes like chicken paprikash, Hungarian-style goulash or pork rouladen. Sausages and, of course, pretzels and mustard, are great pairings as well. Ideal serving temp: 47-49° F

I've had this brew a time or two, and it's not too bad of course. Pours a reddish brown colour with a nice big head. Aroma is malty, caramel and some alcohol. Taste is rather smooth and nutty with soft hops in the finish.

Poured a orangy brown color unfiltered looking, good head didn't leave much lacing. Aroma was of caramel malts. Flavor was the same but had the same sour taste the other lakefront had. Thin mouthfeel. Not good

Poured a dark orange to brown color, somewhat hazy, very nice head. Lacing wasn't that good, though. The aroma was of caramel malts, as expected. The flavor was of caramel malts, but somewhat sour, much like the Riverwest Stein Beer. It's just off. These were two beers I was expecting more of after grabbing down in Pensacola. Flavor was somewhat weak overall and the mouthfeel was very light for a bock. A bock? Please, not it's not. Not this bottle anyway.

This bock pours with a deep mohogany body topped by a thin to medium thick head with decent lacing. The aroma is dairly nice. It’s sweet, malty and caramelly with a nice nuttiness and a hoppy background. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with a sourness and a touch of fruit. Seems a little thin for a bock.
