A springtime version of our ‘Tommy’s Porter’ brewed with less dark malt and more hops. Brewed once a year. Expect an early sellout of this refreshing beer.

Nothing fancy here, just a well balanced and flavorful porter.....I could drink this all day and be satisfied. Amber brown pour with a huge, lasting tan head and a thick coating of lacing as I drain my glass. Roasted malts and calm chocolate with a hearty punch of dark berries and an ever so slight sour twang in the aftertaste. A great example of a well crafted porter.

Another Wisconsin brew from pfoxyjohn, another winner; and from my favorite named brewery. Pours a murky dark brown with a slight creamy head and some lacing. Roasted malts and a touch of sour cream in the aromas. Taste is rich and creamy with a good roasted maltiness and a slight sour and bitter in the end. Very easy to drink. Thanks John!

I would have enjoyed doing a side by side tasting with this one and Tommy's Porter, just to see the differences. Poured a thick brownish black colour with a decent frothy brown top. Aroma is strong of roasted malts and charleston chew notes. Maybe some doughnuts as well- i don't remember the last time i had a dougnut! Taste is very rich, it's creamy, a little bit of coffee midpalate. Otherwise pretty rich brew.

Pours a very dark brown with a light off-white head, leaving prolonged lacing. A roasted malt nose, fresh and robust. Mouthfeel is smooth, full and mellow. Taste is more reserved than in Tommy's Porter, but still delightfully complex. So well balanced - an ethereal blend of mild but tasty roasted malts and light seductive hops. A long, smooth, balanced finish.
