definite belgian flavoring going on in this one as well as aroma.Poured a golden hue with a thin off-white head. Sweet with a yeast-dominant flavor profile.Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.

This poured a dark golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some citrus and a bit of wildness with some yeasty notes. The flavor is more bitter than sour with citrus taking over. There are some belgian yeasty and sourness in there as well. I’m not a huge fans of belgian IPAs but seems more IPA to me. Overall a good one!

Nose of pine and lemon, some pepper, violets. Clear pale copper body is topped with gorgeous white head, this sticky lace, good retention. Mouth is medium to thickish, not very slick, perhaps a little too still. Flavor...this is indeed an odd duck. It has some major Belgium roots to it, a funk and sour thing going on. Perhaps some bubble gum. Lotta spice in there, pepper, cardamon, DRY! Maybe the driest beer I have ever had. Quite hoppy in terms of bitterness (not flavor),some citrus, a touch of nasty chemical in the end. I will have to revisit this as the Little Sumpin line is one of my favorites, this one is just odd.

Golden pour with a nice white head and bits of lacing. Grapefruit and citrus meet Belgian yeasts and ample malts - in aroma and flavor - spicy, nice bitter, fruity and tasty. Like it, not love it.

A toast to Blue Lou on his birthday!!!!Pours a clear orange-yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. A latticework of tiny dots and foamy rings of lace of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and Belgian yeast. Taste is much the same with an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild citrus zest bitterness on the palate with each sip, a belgian IPA vibe going on here. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Strong aroma is quite hoppy, more like an IPA, with fruity and yeasty hints. Pours a clear, bubbly, golden amber with a very thick and rather persistent pale cream head. Flavor is rich and hoppy with an evergreen undertone - is this a Belgian, or an Imperial IPA? Doesn't matter; it's delicious! Has fruity, floral and yeast hints as well. Texture has good body and lots of sass and fizz. Catch this wild 'un whilst you can!

My bottle says 9.4%.......Body appears to be light copper with small flakes floating every where complete with a tall 2" rocky long lasting cap. The aroma is wafting out of my glass I can smell wheat and yeast from three feet away. Up close the aroma a funkyness that rocks! Toasted wheat, vanilla, clove...this aroma is making me drool. 10min in and still have a 1" creamy head floating on top. Taste a feel is soft and creamy..... lingering bitter finish. Hidden grape fruit, smooth toasted wheat, clove, green banana, lots of yum. I don't know why but this was not the beer I was expecting. Soooo yummy. Tiny elements of wood. Great beer, glad I had it.

Sampled from bottle. Thanks, Dansting! Pours gold with a thin off-white head. Complex aroma of hard candy, citrus, dark fruit and flowers. Slightly sweet with a yeast-dominant flavor profile: spicy with a bit of funk. Love it. Full-bodied and light-moderate carbonation. Worth seeking out!

Wild and orderly, well balanced with pronounced grapefruit citrus overtones. One of the better grocery store brands out there. Tasty a good, worth the price of admission!

Picked this up at Wine Gourmet in Roanoke as part of a mixed 4-pack. I was hoping this would be more akin to the original Little Sumpin' Ale - an outstanding beer by any measure. This was not that beer. It's big and heavy but kind of tastes like a Belgian IPA. The aroma is awesome but the flavor is a bit sticky sweet for my liking. Overall, an better than average beer.
