We at the Lagunitas Brewing Company hope you enjoy this genuinely handmade ale. A lot of hard work and enthusiasm go into every aspect of brewing this Mondo Ultra Mega Super Premium Ale. From building the brewery itself to putting the cap on each and every bottle, virtually every step was done by hand. Thanks for your trust and as always: Think Globally, Drink Locally "Here, Have a beer. It will make you right." Ernest said to Tarzan. Tarzan had never had the true beer before and Ernest knew this would not be his last. He Drank the beer quickly. It was cold, and Tarzan knew this too. He looked at the beer coolly. "Me Tarzan, you beer." Ernest looked at Tarzan and felt old. "Vas iz schviss vit da old schtuff?" Ernest and Tarzan turned to watch as Sigmund entered the room strangely. "Sigmund," Ernest said, "my old primitivo! Have a beer with us". Sigmund knew what Ernest meant and he could not bear it. They all had a beer and it was good. Ernest said "Do you remember how it was in Stinson with the running of the dogs and how we ate crullers and got drunk on the Lagunitas Pale and stole grunion from the from the young girls at the Cafe de Sand Shekel?" Sigmund thought of how Ernest could be cruel and he did not answer. He thought how only dogs were not cruel. And also how sometimes a cold beer was just a beer. Tarzan thought of nothing. They all ordered contuuzti del corratzo and spoke not of their big cigars.

Pours clear golden with a nice porcelain head. Aroma presents hoppy and fruity notes, more IPA than pale ale, but with a nice malty undertone. Flavor bursts with hoppy tones accompanied by malty and fruity notes. Body is firm and fizzy. Get barking for one!

Pours a deeper gold, slightly cloudy. There is a nice cap a foamy white head that holds on and leaves some sticky lacing. The aroma is lighter and tropical fruity and floral. The taste has that same quality with a little woody hops added in and a nice lighter caramel body. The body isn't too heavy and it has a nice light carbonation tingle on the finish.

Cask. Slightly hazy goldeny amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and caramelly notes with some slight earthy and yeasty notes as well. Flavour is rather similar. Balanced and refreshing, but nothing really special. Good APA though.

Not the best that I've had from Lagunitas, but still a decent Pale Ale. Nice amber pour with a moderate head and nice lacing. Muted citrus and hop aroma, lightly piney flavor tempered with well-balanced malt. Bitter finish.

Good biscuit quality to interact with a mild floral hop content. Light to medium bodied with a moderate bitterness, drier than most pale ales. Golden copper color with a good sized white head and ample lacing.

Nice amber body with a head that left some really nice lace. Aroma has a biscut, and sweet malt presence to go with the citrus hops. The hops are not as noticeable in the flavor with the bready sweet malts jumping ahead. Overall a nice pale ale, didnt cross the line into ipa territory like some overhopped pales out there.

a nice crisp malty backbone and bitter hop aroma greet you. body and look is average, but IMHO the flavor and aroma are a step above. a good american pale.

I guess I wasn't as dissapointed as everyone else seemed to be, however I did find the beer slightly above average. It's ok though, I am still a fan of the brewery and it's beer. Poured a bright copper colour with a fluffhead. Soft subtle but noticeable hops all around. Grapefruit is there, and citrus fruits are abundant. Generous offerings of malts is probably what has let some down, but i think that it makes sense with this doggystyle beer.

Thank you Z-man for this brew!!
This has to be the least impressive lagunitas brew I have tried... It is not bad just not what I have come to expect from this fine brewery..We know they love the use of hops and almost all of hoppy beers work.. This was is just plain bitter. There is a slight malt back bone about every 3rd sip. Pale ales are becoming to generic these days. it is a style I don't seek out. My biggest issue with this one was the weird mouthfeel... Very Fizzy and had a sting to it... I am glad I got to try it... And I still love lagunitas beers... but this one was a slight let down ... -

Had for Bday at Flying Saucer in Houston ... A very smooth pale ... wonderfully balanced ... golden honey tan coloured beverage ... man, very drinkable ... a nice sweeter pale... thanks Kristen..
