22oz bottle from the liquor store in Page, AZ
Appearance: Clear dark mahogany with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing
Aroma: Dark roasted coffee and rich chocolate
Taste: Silky mouthfeel of roasted malts, rich chocolate and coffee

Shared with fordest and padrefan98, thanks guys.
Pours deep dark coffee color with thin tan head. The aroma is obviously coffee along with vanilla, sweet roasted malts and some burnt malts. The taste starts off sort of sweet and chocolaty. The flavor then becomes more dark roasted coffee and more chocolate and vanilla.Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4
On tap at the Trivia Pub in Moon Township. How can you pass this up? Really cool tap handle grabs your attention. Pours like used shovelhead oil into my clear glass. Sweey aroma hints and beery smells. Very dark opaque color. When tasted, this has an earthy bitterness about it. I really can’t seem to find the coffeeness in there. There is a continuing bitterness of perhaps black bitter chocolate. Has a hard hitting personality, that comes across as medium class. Finish is lingering but not like the lingering bitterness of an imp stout.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy black oil with a burnt brown head. The aroma was dark baking chocolate. Taste was rich with dark chocolate, suttle coffee bean, and slight bitterness.

Dark brown pour with a nice tan head that leaves some impressive sheets of lacing. Coffee dominates the nose with some roasty malt and dark chocolate. Coffee leads the taste profile but is quickly joined by the malt and chocolate. Also get a bit of hoppiness to balance all the flavors, although the coffee sticks around long after I've swallowed the beer. Mouthfeel is creamy, albeit a bit thin. Tasty coffee stout with a fantastic price point. Just realized this is now on sale at the local superstore for $3.49/bomber. Time to stock up.

Sampled from bottle, thanks to Dansting! Pours very dark brown with a thin, scattered head. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. Rich flavor dominated by coffee and roasted malt. Great flavor but just not very complex. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated. If you dig coffee, you need to find this.

Cloudy dark brown/ near black pour, some lacing, little carbonation. Stale coffee and old sweet malt aroma. Taste is a big letdown too: very little advertised coffee, stale malts, overly sweet, a big let down. Maybe it was an old bottle. Will revisit if I find another but for now - No.

A murky brown colored beer with a big foamy textured, light tan head rising above. There’s great hang time on this one. Settles into a thick ringlet and light dusting of film aside the glass. Bitter coffee in the nose. Some citrus hops blened in well with that coffee and sweet malt in the tasting. Medium bodied, adequately carbonated. Overall a good beer. Not a WOW beer.

I love coffee. I love beer. This pours pretty dark with a foamy tan head. Aroma of coffee. Flavor is coffee. Very palatable and nice, I really like it a lot.

This particular beverage is produced less than 50 miles from my home. Generally I love the Lagunitas brand, but personally I found this variety to be somewhat of a disappointment. This interation of the lagaunitas brewery appeared in the local grocery store and as I am a periodic coffee lover I thought I would give this "limited issue" beverage a try. I purchased two bottles. The first was consumed, I found the beverage to be pleasantly bitter, but the coffee overtones to be somewhat intimidating, the mouth feel was appropriately long lasting, not watery. Flavor was like nothing I had ever experienced, not wonderful but tolerable. The second bottle as consumed several days later. I am sorry to say that I was unable to finish the serving. It may have been my mood or something else but I was unable finish because of the seemingly too strong coffee flavor along with bitter hop characteristics.
