Our robust coffee-infused dark ale with a nitrogen push. A multi-layered ale with generous amounts of chocolate malt and big coffee flavors that are well balanced with a noticeable hop character. Deep, dark brown in color with mahogany edges. The soft and creamy texture make this ale dangerously smooth. Not many folks know that our city, Agoura Hills, was once known as Picture City because of all the movies shot in the area.

Sampled at Mammoth Lakes Bluesapalooza. They called it a New City Porter; it seems like a variation of their regular beer and not a regular offering. Served on cask; made with cocoa nibs and cayenne pepper. All the flavors are there, but they don't compete; it's like they take turns on your tongue. The aroma and initial flavor is all chocolate, then it heats up, and the finish is all cayenne sting. I've had dark chocolate bars with hot peppers in it, and this is a lot like that. Texture is super smooth, but the body is a little thin. What's more, I now have a beautiful art nouveau sticker to put on my guitar case.
