Thanks to Driss for this one (brought back from Quebec City). Comes in a wine bottle, hence the Chardonnay. Pours a hazy rich golden colour with a white wine head and has good lacing. Kind of smells like a witbier (or a blond on the lees) with some other scent I cannot put my tongue on (like cheese or almost farm aromas). The wine is present in the taste. Sparkling mouthfeel with blonde malt. The alcohol is very well hidden. Interesting beer, mixing the Chardonnay and beer together. One of the better brews from La Barberie.

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consist of a very nice Belgian malt base with some spicy yeast and some light white grapes notes. Taste is also a very well balance mix between some spicy peppery yeast with some notes white grapes and a strong semi-sweet malt backbone. Great carbonation with a full body and no apparent alcohol. I really enjoyed that one and definitely like it then most of the other offering.
