500 ml bottle, bought in Bier Spezi Hamburg. Hazy orange colour, pours with the typical hefeweizen enormous head. Spicy aroma (cloves and more), hints of leather and ammonium too. Typical hefeweizen flavour but not quite as full as I desired. Rather dry, minimal hops. Fizzy and slightly dusty mouthfeel. Decent, but not the best h.w. I’ve had.

Pours a clean rich golden colour with an amber hue. The head is thick-frothy, almost creamy, warm off-white with good retention and creamy lacing. Rich, sweet smelling malts with grainy notes and bananas. Thankfully, the taste is not as sweet as expected. Decent hops balance out the finish. Still malty with hints of bananas, but a certain spiciness found in Euro Pilsner helps out. Not much lingering on the tongue, which is good for a Weisse. Much better than expected.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Hazy golden orange colour with mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, citrusfruits, some mildabana and yeasty. Flavour is wheat, yeast, some banana, citrusfruits and mild herbal notes. Refreshing, but otherwise quite standard. A bit strong on the yeasty/herbal side.

Hazy dark yellow with a large pillowy white foam. Ckoves, green bananas, and mild spices in the aroma with funkt notes of white bread and herbs. Yeasty and biscuity flavour of white bread, banana, cloves and rubber. Light-bodied. Finishes of raw yeast, over-riped banana, cloves, white bread and burnt rubber.

Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a large white head. Aroma of cloves and bananas. Fruity taste, sweetish, malty and spicey. A pretty decent hefeweizen...
