Having tried the Kronenbourg Lager, I decided to try this. The beer smoothly into the glass with a nice light gold colour, clear, with a thin head. The aroma is faint, but malty. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some mild carbonation. The taste is more hops than malt and has a slightly bitter finish. Overall, a decent beer that I may try again but I prefer the lager.

Pours out clear gold with a massive white foamy head. The aroma is light skunk with touch of lemon. The mouthfeel is thin and watery. The taste, well let me say this the French might know wine but they don't know beer. It's not horrible just absolutely not a fine quality beer.

Green bottle time again. Pours a straw amber with a one finger white head that goes down fairly slow. Lots of carbonation. Aroma reminds me of a hefe of all things. A little sours with hints of malts, Belgian yeast, and cloves. Taste on the other hand is extremely stale and metallic. Subsides after a bit and starts to taste like any other green bottle lager but without the skunk unbelievably. What a mess of a "beer" but it is drinkable.

Pours an average size slightly foamy head and has a yellowish straw coloured appearance. Patchy lacing. Pretty faint grainy malt and wheaty aromas. Flavours of light roasted malts, mild floral hops. Breads and grains as well. Has a bit of corn in it as well but not enough to detract. Mild creamy mouthfeel, pretty excessive carbonation. More watery in the finish. Light bodied. Not bad actually, just nothing special.

Lighter yellow with huge white foam head. Ata camping when the temperature is 30C this is a perfect pilsener. Aroma is OK, so is taste. (Strasbourg 201207)

Pours a light straw yellow in color with significant amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a tall white foamy head that quickly reduces to a very thin film and slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Light lacing is observed. The aroma is of pale sweet malts and grassy hops, not a very dominant aroma with a little skunky to the smell. The taste is of pale toasted malts, slightly sweet with some hints of grassy and floral hops and very light citrus notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market. Light golden yellow pour with a medium sized white head which reduces to a constant ring leaving a decent amount of lacing. Good carbonation. Light malts and fruity aroma with a bit of apples and light hops presence. Taste is surprisingly refreshing with a touch of apple tart and lightly sweet malts offset nicely by a very light Noble-type hops bitter. Very surprised by this beer. Draft may be the way to drink this one if you can find it. I will not visit the bottles and the refreshing pints I hoisted will be only a memory... a nice one though.

Crystal clear shine colored beer. A big frothy white head rises above. Some hang time. Settles into a thick soapy ringlet atop the body and light splotches of film aside the glass. A bubbily, light body. Grainery, grass, mineral in the nose and taste. Not bad

I had this beer at the Heidi Bier Bar in Copenhagen on 14 January 2011. This beer was just a run of the mill lager in my opinion. There are a lot of better beers in Copenhagen - I'll be passing on this one for the rest of my stay.

Insanely expensive in Germany and for that reason I won't purchase it unless I am in France and tired of wine. It is a very pedestrian beer. I don't think it's bad at all, just not anything special. people have said it is skunky. Maybe a tad, but i've smelled worse by a long shot. Its light, refreshing, quickly dimishing head. It does have a bite, not a nibble. It lacks refinement . Dare I say that about anything French? Actually, it reminds me of Schlitz., the new old version. Probably better on tap.
