Comes out of the tap a hazy honey-golden with a thick, pale honey head. Rich, nose-filling wheaty aroma has a firm citrus undertone that is sweet and mainly lemon. Rich, wheaty flavor has yeasty and sweet lemon tones and hints of orange and grass. Lively, fizzy, full-bodied texture completes one of the best wheat beers I have ever enjoyed.

Pours out a extremely cloudy gold color with a good white head. The aroma is of strong spice. The mouthfeel is just a little thin. The taste is spice ya semi sweet just like a Belgium style.

Opaque golden yellow with off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is wheat, bread. Tastes bread like, soft, fresh, little fruity. Quite long aftertaste. (Kassel 201403)

Single bottle from Marché Omni. Pours a cloudy golden-orange with a slightly off-white, creamy head, with great retention and some light lacing. At first pour, smells good with Belgian Ale yeast and bubblegum notes. Then, turns into some mild adjuncts from macro beers with the wheat. Maybe it's just the hop used in this one that gives off this aromas. A fruity whiff helps out things. Wet mouthfeel with some creaminess from the head. Wheat taste with hints of oranges. Very light spices and bananas. Not bad, but nothing too crazy for style, and from Germany. Their macro Weizen.

Light hazy orange yellow color, tall frothy white head, big chunky lacing. Requisite German yeast aroma and flavors, slight banana and clove, wet wheat, very slightly gritty. Slightly above average German Hefe but it was the only one I could find while Jonesin' for some. Still refreshing and adequate.

A cloudy orange colored beer with a big frothy textured white head that rises robustly above. Good hang time. Settles ointo a thick foamy ringlet. A light, indiscernable nose. Bananas and wheat dominate the tasting. Overall good, just no wow factor.

THis is one of the offerings of the store downstairs in my apt. building, so I pick up a few singles now and then. It is a respectable hefeweizen, with the usual characteristics...a cloudy light amber pour, nice white head that dissipates rather quickly into the chewy gooey wheat and fruit. Yes, the banana notes are there, but as Sigmund said, they are over ripe bananas. Good description, Sigmund. THe cloves are up front, too, which suits me fine. In a land where beer is an art form, this one doesnt stand out, but that does not mean it isn't an outstanding beer. On the contrary, I enjoy every 'bite'.. :)

500 ml bottle, bought at Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.3%. Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, huge white head. Very nice typical hefeweizen aroma, with strong notes of cloves and over-ripe bananas. Refreshing flavour, notes of banana and cloves again, minimal hops.

Draught. Slightly hazy yellowish orange colour with huge creamy and longlasting white head. Aroma is wheat, quite much banana as well as citrus fruits and some mild notes of wood. Flavour is mainly wheat mixed with citrusfruit. Refreshing summerbeer.
