Hörde is a Dortmund Export inspired lager, made with Northeastern grown and malted Endeavor barley. A bit stronger than most of our lagers, Hörde is a beautiful golden lager that leads with the honey and clover notes of our favorite pilsner malt. Selected German hops provide a delicate bitterness and aroma. Click on the batch number for distribution details. Batch 1. Packaged Feb 21, 2022 Batch 2. Packaged Feb 6, 2023 Batch 3. Sweet malts immediate upon the nose.... Fresh baked bread... Just a little floral. Light copper body topped with a whitehead with minimal retention and minimal lace. Mouth is creamy and quite effervescent. Medium bodied. Flavor starts a bit hoppy.. mid taste goes a bit sour.. malt showing up in the finish which is rather lengthy. A touch of astringency in the finish. Gets better as it warms.
