Suprisingly, I had never had their porter during the many trips I made to this place, so getting to try this was kinda cool. And the beer turns out to be a very nice beer at the same time. Aroma was chocolate defined. Tons, and tons of chocolate with a underscoring of roasted malts. Can't recall the last porter I had that had this much chocolate. Appearance was dark, dark brown to black, no head. A bit thin and watery in the mouth. Flavors are chocolate, roasted malts but suprisingly not really sweet and finishes a bit on the dry side. Nice suprise!

Deep black brown color. Medium head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malts. A medium bodied porter. Roasted malts, choclately and somewhat sweet. Slight hop bitterness. A touch thin for a porter, and a little watery. But, it finishes well and it somewhat dry. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is dry and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
