Forced draught at the GBBF 2008. Murky brown opaque colour, big head. Very nice aroma of malts, lemons, banana and cloves. Same elements in the flavour, this is the most lemony dunkelweizen I’ve had. Good stuff.

Bottled. Really hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty, and yeasty with some mild hints of bananas. Flavour is very much the same. A quite pleasant brew.

Bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with a generous light brown/off-white head. Aroma is sour apples and banana. Nice complex taste; fruity, bananas, some caramel. Sweet then sour. Lovely, prolonged slightly yeasty aftertaste. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Very nice; a class Dunkles.
