True to it's style, this beer has a mild malt sweetness with a pronounced hop bitterness that lingers in the mouth long after the beer is gone. It is a well balaced Pale Ale avoiding the trend of excesive over hopping.

Sampled on 9/11/2010 at the brewpub. This American Pale Ale pours a medium amber color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, a touch of grapefruit and citrusy hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice carbonation. Medium bitterness. Good balance. The hoppiness just sort of lingers in the background on this one. Noticeable but not overpowering. Nice solid beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Won Gold at Wold Beer Cup 2008 but could be on the edge of being a breakout or staple product for this exciting micro brew. It is a top notch quality is second to none. This brew is consistently good batch to batch and is perfection in a glass. I can't find flaws in this Pale!
