JosephsBrau Heller Bock is a fine example of the regal brewing tradition still found in Germany today. This outstanding bock is golden in color, very rich, and moderately hopped. It is brewed with three types of imported malt, Hallertau aroma hops and lager yeast.

Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a warm cap, average retention and some lacing. Aromas of cereal grain with some sweetness. The taste is sweet with some caramel malts and light hops. Refreshing for a higher alcohol content, but a little too sweet to have one more.
