Ancient timelines talk of dark days, plagued by hardships and Kingdom demands. When hope was all but lost, a legend emerged. A plumber. With copper pipes and an uncanny wit, he battled fierce foes and saw to the brewery’s opening. Our Octoberfest is malty, smooth and exceedingly drinkable. It is perfect to celebrate and honor today’s legends. We use locally grown wheat from MA, Munich malt and noble hops.

Maybe it's me but I'm getting only the faintest nose from this Brew. A hint of malt. What a marzen should look like medium copper body nice frothy head with fantastic retention and really good lace. Nice in the mouth with soft but thorough carbonation. Light malts predominate the flavor some bread some crust some biscuit. Hop level is spot on for type. Hint of sweetness towards the end with a very clean short finish. Just extremely drinkable and another fine effort from Jack's Abby.

Pours clear copper (wonder why!) with a thick and frothy parchment head. Aroma yields malty, bready and subtle fruity notes. Flavor delivers toasted malt, bready, and subtle pomme on a woody hop foundation. Texture provides good smooth body and peppy fizz. No official Oktoberfest this year? No problem!
