Poured a hazy, yellow copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, resin, citrus fruits, floral hops, and tofee malts. Taste of more citrus and pine, with toasted malts, tobacco, and a bitter, grapefruit finish.

The orange tint to this was quite nice looking in the glass. There was also some nice bubble action. The flavor was a little on the bitter side for an IPA and not one of Ithaca's best brews....but worth a try just the same.

Very attractive looking IPA, dark murky orange in colour with a smallish pure white head. That goes fast, but there is nice lace. Nice spicy, hoppy aroma, cirtic almost. Taste is mostly of course of hops but it is a pleasant bitterness, some alcohol present in the final taste, but not too much. Very very good mouthfeel to this one, very "full and smooth, alcohol warmth in the lower throat but its welcome. For a 10% beer I have to say this is ultra drinkable

Bottle: Poured orangey color ale with a huge bubbly head with better then average retention. Aroma is comprised solely of floral hops reminiscent of West Coast hops but with added earthiness. Taste is medium sweet with some lingering bitterness as this beer hits the back of your palate. There is some ‘’earthy’’ feeling that I can’t quite put a name on that doesn’t fit too well with this beer but since it is not too dominant it does not ruin this beer. Great imperial IPA.
