Bottle shared by Robert at SL, what a guy! Pour was amber in color, huge big head. The aroma was styrofoam with some phenolic and yeasty elements. The flavor followed the aroma, styrofoam, phenolic, yeast, spices, strong bitter finish in the end. Mouthfeel was of decent body, moderate, good invigorating carbonation. A decent brew.

UGGG…I hate my life now that I have had this beer. What the hell is this?!?! Hoppy gueuze funk aroma with citrus and wood. Brew looks honey brown, slightly cloudy and has a not bad cap. Flavor is much of the same gueuze, with hop, rubber boot, sour, more wood, some leaf. WTF. This is the strangest thing. I hate it yet it intrigues me. Die dove for making us share it with you. Maybe if a third bomb was dropped this beer never would have been made…….i guess we’ll never know.

Going to give it higher numbers than beerguy, but the description is quite accurate. Lovely brew, quite enjoyable, triple hops implied to me that it would be ultra hoppy, but really its just a somewhat complex hop. Apple in a addiotion to characteristic bitterness, of the tangarine and grapefuit and maybe orange varity. I get a bit of a herby, minty, ultra sublte feeling on the back of the mouth post drinking. Not sure about needing more malt, but that might be a kick off to make a much hoppyer and stonger brew all around. That is if you are of my taste and sometimes have thought of just eating hops.

Sampled on 7/1/2009. This Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 500ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malt, floral hops and honey, with a touch of green apples and something else. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, green apples and honey. The hops are herbal and floral. A touch of mineralization, which intensifies as it warms. Decent carbonation. It needs a little more malt to balance the hops. Interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
