This son of a Gunn is the frutiest number we have ever brewed. We've taken the frutiest hops we could find, turned them into an IPA, then added a mountain of mangoes. So good it seems to have its own soundtrack (check out Son of a Gun by JX).

March 2020: 330 ml can, at The George, Croydon. Deep reddish brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of mango. Distinct flavour of mango, kind of perfumed, some bitterness.

After having their Gunnpowder IPA in a can, having this fruity version. Pours a clean light-amber colour with a big frothy-creamy light-beige colour with great retention and some nice creamy lacing. Hoppy aromas like the other, but with the mangoes balancing some sweetness, fruitiness in the grassiness. Hints of strawberries, also felt in the taste - like those creamy-strawberry candies (Campino). Much less hoppy in the mouth, and more fruity. Some light dryness. Bitterness seems to build, showing the IPA side, more and more. Again, easy to drink fruity light-IPA. Well-done!
