This was poured from a brown bottle into a pint glass. It had a medium hop taste with a decent yet clean finish. Its body was also above medium.Very good head too.

Had this a long time ago...before I got into craft beer...or just as I was starting to. Remember it to being the "alternative" to swill at South Florida concerts and festivals. Maybe not swill, but wouldn't call it craft. Now it is part of the semi-mass produced Florida Beer Company, so couldn't say if the quality is better or worse. Not going out of my way to get an updated sample, but I would take one for free if offered or around.

Fresh, hoppy and spicy aroma. Deep dark orange pour with a good solid head that dissipates pretty quickly. Flavor is good balance of malts and hop .

Right down the line this was pretty average stuff.....not bad, but not great either. I liked the golden appearance and the small head as well. The taste was good but there was something a little peculiar about it that I couldn't quite figure out. It was also a shade on the watery side. However, it was still a fairly enjoyable brew to try.

Without the hurricane reef label i would have said florida you've got style, cause this tasted like a can of old style, only it was in a bottle, which makes me wonder where the metalic taste came from. Strange, very strange indeed.
