500 ml capped bottle, the brewer's gift. Poured in the original designed Huppendorfer Weihnachtsfestbier Seidla an unfiltered and hazy golden-orange coloured Festbier with a generous two fingers light beige, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is grainy malts, grassy hops, a touch of barnyard and spices, mandarin peels, cinnamom. The flavour is solid grainy malts, biscuits, dried fruits, almonds, spicy with a touch of cinnamom and late emerging fruits, bananas. The mouthfeel is round, light crispy and sour bitter. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Festbier has a dry malty and sourish bitter finish. If I expected a more prononced spicy side in this Weihnachtsfestbier, a good beer is a good beer and this brew is a good one !
