5.0 l party-keg. Poured in the original old Huppendorfer bock glass a clear magnificent pale amber colored Bock with a two fingers white creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, floral hops, flowery, roses, violet. The flavour is toasted malts , strong floral hops, flowery, violet, fruity, pears, apricots and lychees. The balance sweet malts - hoppy bitternes is beautiful. The mouthfeel is first slight crispy and creamy and then very smooth with a pronounced warming effect. This full bodied Bock has a lingering flowery and floral hops finish. From the alcohol level may be more a Doppel Bock as a Bock. Simply SUPERB. A great beer from the heart of Upper Franconia !
