500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Hübner glass a clear and golden-yellow coloured Helles Bockbier with a two fingers beige and soapy foamy head that had a short retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is intense sweety malts, mild grassy hops, notes of caramel and butter. The flavour is deep grainy and sweety malts, herbal notes, rosmarin, moderate grassy hops. The mouthfeel is round and quite fulled. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Helles Bockbier has a dry malty finish. A very pleasant, tasty Helles Bockbier from a Franconian cult-brewery.
