Hörde is a Dortmund Export inspired lager, made with Northeastern grown and malted Endeavor barley. A bit stronger than most of our lagers, Hörde is a beautiful golden lager that leads with the honey and clover notes of our favorite pilsner malt. Selected German hops provide a delicate bitterness and aroma. Click on the batch number for distribution details. Batch 1. Packaged Feb 21, 2022 Batch 2. Packaged Feb 6, 2023 Batch 3. Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Sweet malts immediate upon the nose.... Fresh baked bread... Just a little floral. Light copper body topped with a whitehead with minimal retention and minimal lace. Mouth is creamy and quite effervescent. Medium bodied. Flavor starts a bit hoppy.. mid taste goes a bit sour.. malt showing up in the finish which is rather lengthy. A touch of astringency in the finish. Gets better as it warms.
