The beer pours a clear copper colour with a generous light tan coloured head that slowly dissipates. The first whiff is alcohol, followed by caramel malt, yeast notes, and light floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is burnt caramel, a definite alcohol note, and weak bitter hop finish. I’ve never been all that into Moosehead or Hop City, and this isn’t helping their cause any.
