Serve it up in a goblet or wine glass and remember try and relax!! Aroma is fairly strong, malty with a firm candy-sweet overtone and fruity hints. It pours a nice clear coppery amber with a decent off-white head that leaves some nice lacing. Flavor is quite strong and mouth-filling, fairly sweet but not cloying, malty and subtly hoppy with hints of caramel and cinnamon. Texture is fairly fizzy and fairly smooth, leaving a lip-smacking finish.

Pours a burnt orange color that is cloudy and unfiltered looking.the aroma is of malt and pineapple or perhaps mango. The taste and mouthfeel is thick and rich.

Hazy darker orange yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is little hoppy with some fruit tones. Taste is quite flat, difficult to tell, little fruit, some alcohol. Little aftertaste. (Velp 201303)

Pours cloudy golden amber with a thin head as one would expect of a belgian with this much alcohol (masked nicely by the way). Slightly sweet fruits are in the nose and its velvet smooth on the pallette. Well-balanced Belgian.

Living in Florida, I can appreciate that we are starting to get some good brewers here. This isn't one of the best Belgians out there, but a solid all around beer. The 10% alcohol is somewhat hidden...but maybe I am just a bit too buzzed to notice. Flavors and aroma are fruity (sweet and tart), but not overally sweet like many in this style. Good hoppy balance too! For a domestic Belgian Ale, this is quite tasty. Appearance is a clear copperish-gold. Would be willing to sample this more, as the price is right versus the top-notch imports.

The whimsical names and labels of the Holy Mackerel line make these fun beers to try and find out Florida can make good craft beers. This one, a cloudy amber colored beer with a small frothy textured off white head rising above. Hodd hang time, settling eventually in a fairly thick ringlet. Let this one warm. The nose and tasting get better. A cornucopia of well balanced sweet malt, light citrus, apples and other fruits, and spices. Medium to medium full bodied and creamy. This is a very good beer.
