(500 ml bottle, bought in Norway.) Pours with the typical large & lingering weissbier head, colour of the beer is brown, not black as the name suggests. Slightly hazy. Pleasant aroma of fresh baked bread and weissbier yeast, hints of dark syrup and caramel. Flavour has a slight roastiness and some farmhouse bread character, smooth and pleasant to drink, but not very complex. Just enough hops to leave a pleasant aftertaste, but like most weissbiers the aftertaste does not last "forever". This is a decent but unpretentious beer, a nice accompaniment with a meal or as a refreshment on its own.

Dark brown with brownish foam head, lasting and lacing. Aroma is mainly sweet caramel. Taste is somewhat bittersweet, but caramel prevails, some pepper. Short little bitter, lot of sweet aftertaste. (Baku 201211)

Dark copper coloured, big creamy beige head. Wheat, some roast, malts and bananas in aroma. Flavour is caramel, fruits and wheat. Mild flavour. Not any favourite, but could think of drinking again at some point.

red-amber colour, nice head, deep wheaty and banana aroma, sweet, medium-bodied at best, quite flat with an earthy, short finish - under average

Bottle. Hazy reddish brown colour with large, creamy, off-white head. Roated malts, banana and clove in the aroma. Taste is the same; well balanced, nice slight sourness, moderately carbonated, nice light mouthfeel, thirst quenching and very drinkable. Very good.
