This beer has a uniquely sweet flavor of rice koji and a natural acidity caused by the fermentation. 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Brownish-orange colour, small head, slightly off-white. Aroma of yeast, wort, boiled rice, stale orange marmalade. Slightly sweet flavour, yeasty and fruity, hints of grain and rice, somewhat better than the aroma. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Heaven knows what makes this a "saison".

Best before date 27/04/17 with a revised 6% ABV. Pours a hazy golden colour with tiny particles, very lively carbonation forming a frothy-foamy white cap, good retention and soapy lacing. The aromas are quite strong on the citrus with even some lime juices, from the Yuzu. The mouthfeel is a little tarty. Then, the grassy hops take over, in the nose and the mouth. Citrus shows up mildly in the finish. An interesting Japanese twist on the Saison.

Pours hazy dark apricot with a th eggshell head. Aroma has yeasty, banana, pear and mango tones. Fruit dominates the flavor, banana and mango and pear plus malty and yeasty undertones. Texture has decent firmness and fizz. Vive la Japon!
