Marie-Ange (1907 - 1996) is our maternal great-grandmother, fondly remembered as Mémé. Born in Quebec, she emigrated to the Northeast Kingdom with her husband Edward J. Fournier. In her honor, we brew a beautifully soft, unfiltered Helles lager. Lightly hazy, naturally carbonated and truly enjoyable, this is the beer we dream to have shared with Marie.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours a clean, light golden colour with a frothy white cap, average stay and some tiny foam spots left on the glass. Yeasty aromas with some decent spiciness and herbal notes. Crisp mouthfeel with a nice, mild dryness in the finish. The malt is nicely balanced with the yeast in the taste. Hints of apples, pears with a touch of herbs. Quite a good, refreshing Helles with a tad more hops from the German side, and the yeast playing a big roll.
