Everett (1908-1939) was our grandfather’s brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Porter is crafted from American malted barley, English and German roasted malts, American hops, our ale yeast, and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Decadent in its depth, with a complex backbone of chocolate, coffee, and malty sweetness, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Everett. 7.5% ALC/VOL 21º P Ingredients: Pale, Caramel, and Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, Columbus hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery on my first visit, Easter weekend 2018 trip. Very dark brew with a yellow beige head, good stay and lacing. Dark fruits aromas with molasses and hints coffee, nuttiness, apples. Roasted malts with a nice light bitterness, lingering coffee notes on the tongue. Quite a nice robust American porter.

Pours coffee brown with a th but serviceable tan head. Aroma presents tempting coffee, roast malt and subtle chocolate tones. Flavor delivers chocolate, molasses, roast malt, toffee and subtle licorice notes. Mouthfeel features firm and smooth yet fizzy body. Enjoy!

Easily the best looking porter around - deep brown/black with a mocha colored head. Robust aromas of smoke, chocolate, and coffee. Tastes of brownie batter, smoky malt, and pumpernickel bread. Highly enjoyable. This would be a staple in the fridge if more readily available.

Nicely robust porter, solidly crafted to style. Medium bodied with a silky finish. Standard brown pour. Sweet cocoa, nuts and toast with a kiss of earthy hops. Sweet then lending to a mild bitter kick. A porter for those who like a good porter...

This robust porter had a little age on it, and was sweet-leaning in the aroma, and the flavor. Complex mix of malted chocolate, roast, and dark fruits. Great medium-full bodied feel without any alcohol heat. Nice bittersweet finish.
