Not bad, but if you can't do it right, why bother? Some will drink this and think it's what a hefe is all about. Medium golden, hazy color with a slight head and minimal lacing. Flavor was light and nondescript. A weak showing in the catagory.

not bad for a heffe, but not that great either...just under average. there is a faint but pleasing aroma, and it's a little light on the flavor, and the feel is a bit thin.

Henry weinhards beers are always pretty decent. They are never the best and never the worst and this one is consistent with that. Most hefeweizens pour very cloudy but this one is pretty clear. Either way it's still cheap and pretty good.

Almost Amber color. A Light body and moderate head to this Unfiltered beer. While the aroma is light, this unfiltered beer has a better look than it does feel. It offers some bitter cascade hops and descent caramel malts, but the honey flavor is almost not there. It has a fine, crisp flavor to it , but it is a tad thin for a wheat beer.

Poured a well-carbonated hazy medium gold colour, and a generous head which left some nice lacing. Aroma was not as expected, being slightly floral. Taste was clean but slightly bitter, not as I'd come to expect from a wheat beer; almost as if the honey was left out of this bottle. However, the aftertaste did sweeten up a tiny bit but still, this is no hefeweizen in the traditional sense.

This beer pours a hazy yellowish slightly orange color with a thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is wheaty and slightly cardboardy with sweet fruity hints. The flavor is light to medium bodied. Heavily wheaty with a cardboard like sweetness in the finish. Ever-so-slightly medicinal in its approach, but not bad for what it is. Sweet, dry finish, lots of malt, and big breadyness with a hint of lemon. Heavy carbonation levels.

Medium gold color, slightly cloudy, small head. A light bodied hefeweizen. Mild malts and hops. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, some residual carbonation.

Ok right away i spot a weird thing on the label it says in big letters "hefeweizen" then underneath in much smaller "honey brewed lager"...now what a dilemma..how should i judge this beer? Ok the beer actually looks like a dark hefeweizen actually not to bad. smell however seems to mix the styles there is some weheat but mostly lager hopping. The taste is pretty average..not too bad..sweet on the front then gets a smallish bitterness at the back of the tongue..more lager like..the sweetness does seem to be honeyish. Average mouthfeel Pretty drinkable but Im still confused as to what this beer wants to be..if it Stated Honey Lager..i would say it was pretty darn good for the style ( miles better than Michelobs version for example)..but as a hefe..its weak
