500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Hartmann seidla a gushing and clear dark brown-red coloured Dunkler Bock with a two fingers tan foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is powerful caramel and roasted malts, dried fruits and hay. The flavour is caramel and roasted malts, toffee, rye bread. The mouthfeel is crispy and sparkling. The texture is watery. This medium to full bodied Dunkler Bock has a dry malty finish. An easy and decent Bock from the Bamberger area.
