Nothing beats kicking back on the deck at the cabin and taking in a classic Manitoba sunset. Our Hefeweizen captures that jovial atmosphere with a hazy golden body from a blend of wheat, two-row pale, and Munich malts. German grown Hallertau hops balance the fruity wheat malts with a light, spicy character. Finally, a burst of banana and clove aromas fill the air due to the specially slected yeast culture. Try it with a light meal of grilled bratwurst, hot mustard, and potato salad. Serve at 6 C. in a tall Weizen glass. Bottle will contain sediment - which should be poured into the beer.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a deep hazy beige color weizen with some white hue with a big white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of banana and subtle clove notes are dominating. Taste is well balance between wheat and some very nice banana ester which provide great refreshing factor. Full body with some limited filtration and some very good carbonation. I was very impressed by this one – full creamy body with nice banana notes.

650ml bomber. Very fresh. Poured a murkey honey-gold ale with a decent 3 finger frothy cap in the glass...great lacing, moderate carbonation for a hefe. Aromas were somewhat subdued until the brew warmed then the banana/juicy fruit gum/clove aromas came in...nobel hops in the aroma as well. Profile: Great blend of malts and noble hopping as it mixes with the ample yeast esters and phenols that produce the big fruity bubblegum, clove and spice tastes...dries up in the finish. Silky mouth feel, excellent malt spine. ... good recipe design in the way the nobel nops frame the yeast esters and phenolsas they play against the great malting...well made micro hefe...like something one might get at a brew pub in a rural Bavarian village. Very refreshing, authentic and drinkable.
