Serveringstemp 10-12 grader.

Golden yellow, bit hazy. Small white foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and bitter taste. LIke this and think I did this beer wrong with this low rating. (Oslo 201706)

Really carbonated in the bottle purchased from Belmont Station Portland; I have heard before that they are not really on top of inventory here, and I guess this must be one of those, purchased Oct 2011 brewed april 08, bbf 2010. The beer was stellar anyways. cloudy, slightly brown, muddy some crimson. Smells so cool! Like sour peach and pepper, maybe something sour in a west Asian way. Woody, maybe even a little smoky. Really cool hop profile, mouth is medium, finish is fleeting, bitterness creeps up. Its an interesting character for sure. Unique IPA, something with rough edges and definitely European more than american.

500 ml bottle, batch 259. Poured an unfiltered hazy copper-brown colored I.P.A. with a huge slight beige foamy head that had a very long retention and falled within a moment. Mid-sized carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is heavy piney hops, fruity, citrus. The flavour is strong resinous and piney hops, bready malts, flowery, violet, roses, fruity, orange, grapefruit and spicy, peppery. The mouthfeel is fulled by the strong floral hops and the connected bitterness. This medium to full bodied I.P.A. has a lingering flowery hoppy finish and a certain warming effect. I simply like it.

Sampled from bottle. Pours cloudy, dirty copper and with a lasting off-white head and nice lacing. Dark fruit aroma with some earthy hop notes. The flavor is overwhelmingly peaty. Some citrus, floral hops, too. Very different and quite funky! I like it - but not in a session beer type of way. It's more of a unique experience than a quaffable beer. Worth trying!

Pours a murky copper color with nice, lasting head. The aroma balances herbal and earthy notes; it is interesting and unusual. The flavor follows suit and also incorporated moderate smokiness. Medium bodied with great, effervescent carbonation and subtle warming affect. The wild hops really lend a uniqueness to this beer. Fun sampler if you can find it. The purveyor was hiding this one in the back and I only scored it after a lengthy interrogation.

An amber apperance with a white head. The aroma contains some toasted notes with caramel and citrus of course. The flavor contains a hint of pine along with some lemons and caramel. The finish is bitter but sour also. Overall this one was ok.

Bottle from Julio’s liquor in Mass. Pours iwht an amber body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweeet yet bitter and floral with a slight nutty note. medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth.

Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is hops and yeast. Flavour is hoppy all the way through. Also some hints of yeast and grass. Smooth to drink and a very pleasant IPA.

Hazy amber with low dissapearing white head. Fruity aroma of dried fruit with touches of floral hops. Malty flavour of sweet oranges, dried fruit, red berries and yeast. Grassy finish with a yeasty undertone of dried orabges.. Not much of an IPA IMHO, maybe a decent ESB...

Bottle conditioned, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting (courtesy of the brewery). Lovely hoppy aroma (Cascade?), notes of grapefruit and very subtle oak. Flavour is somewhat less impressive, fairly light bodied and bitterness is not overwhelming - still, this is another decent beer from Haandbryggeriet
