Pours a frothy, slightly tan head and has a hazy, pale golden amber appearance. Decent lacing. Floral and citrus hop aromas, light yeasty notes, breads and sweet malts. Citrus hop flavours abound, mild yeast and also a bit of barley noticeable. Spice and resin hops are also in the mix. Nice bitter mouthfeel, drying as well as mouthcoating sensation. Quite smooth. Lively carbonation. Great balance of bitterness and sweetness. Much more bitter in the finish, which is fine, at 88ibu's. Good stuff.

Bomber from the LCBO, from their "Tank Ten" series at 7.0% ABV. Pours a slightly hazy, golden-amber colour, with a creamy off-white head that has great retention. Soft hoppy nose with all of the great fresh typical IPA notes; grapefruit, grass, other citrus, spices, all with some sweet malts and warming alcohol. Nicely balanced mouthfeel between wet and mildly dry in the finish. The sharp bitterness in the finish, is still mild overall. Again, well-blended between the sweet malts and the fruity hops. Very well-done IPA, that is not over-the-top, but has all the character of one.

The beer pours a very hazy golden-orange colour with a long lasting white head. The aroma is citrusy hops, some tropical fruit, and caramel and grains. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is a mix of tropical fruit and citrus with some sweet malt as well. Easy to see why this has been a favourite of the Toronto beer crowd for the last 3-4 years. -

Bottle from brewery: Pours a hazy amber ale in the glass with a rocky off white cap. Soft carbonation, Aroma mimics a big ESB; Caramel over floral metallic hopping. Flavor is more like an ESB than an IPA. Caramalts, long boil kent bittering, fruity esters from yeast, some citrus, long bitter finish, metallic aftertaste. A tad two dimensional and overly bitter to no point.
