It pours a dark reddish-orange-brown with a thin white head and some surrounding lacing. An aroma of raspberry, caramel malts, breads, citrus, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus, raspberries and berries, light bitterness, and spices. Good!

this one was pretty "eh" by Great Divide's lofty standards. malt forward aroma and flavor, with the raspberry coming out a little more in the flavor than the aroma. spritzy feel fits the style. more of a summer quencher than a beer that will blow you away.

Strong aroma is mainly raspberry, and I LOVE raspberry! It has some malty and yeasty hints as well. Color is a clear Coca-Cola brown with a fine-bubbled pale tan head that sticks around for a little bit and leaves behind a little lacing. Malty flavor has a firm and sharp raspberry undertone, a little sweetness, a little fruity tartness and a whisper of yeast. Texture is smooth as almond milk, but with a tart edge and a little fizz.

Bottled on 22 July 2010. This beer was quite nice and refreshing. It was ruby red and had great head retention. The beer sadly did not have the big nose I was hoping for. In any event, where the beer lacked in nose it made up for in taste. This beer was raspberry, bitters, and hops. The beer was full bodied and yet light on the palate. I would absolutely have this beer again.

Pours kind of a reddish copper with a white head, decent lacing. Downhill from there...mouthfeel is bland, flavor is a whacky soda pop fruity thing but kind of nasty too. Pouring this out...and I like fruit beers btw. Just not this one.

Enjoyed this a the Great Divide Brewery in Denver, Colorado. This beer pours a red raspberry color with a small pinkish-white head. Aroma is malts and raspberries. Flavor is of raspberries but not overpowering, was very good on a hot day. NOTE: The bartender gave me a tip of mixing half of their raspberry ale with half of their chocolate Yeti. I tried it and it was fantastic!!

This beer like most from Great Divide is a good beer. It pours a nice redish brown with a nice white head. It has a malty aroma that just hints of respberries. The taste is much the same it does not over power in fruit or malt but a nice mix. This beer is good and refreshing and nice for a change of pace when drinking.

I have to admit I expected more out of this beer. A cloudy dark red beer with copper highlights is topped off by a pinkinsh bubbly head. The aroma is raspberries and malt...pretty simple eh?. The flavour is weak sweet malt, tart raspberries, and mild bitter finish. Nothing spectacular, not not bad either.

As most who read the reviews know, I'm not a huge fan of fruit beers, but after a great experience with another Raspberry earlier and great all around experiences with Great Divide, I decided to give their Raspberry a shot. It's a really good beer. A medium to deep red, slight head, fabuluous aroma. Lightly sweet.

Pretty nice actually, especially when extremely warm outside. A few friends I know drink this and Pyramid’s Apriot Ale exclusively during the summer months. Goes down very easy by the pool.
The beer pours out a stunning purplish/magent hue, light haze and a nice fluffy off-white head. A huge raspberry overload in the aroma. Reminds me of a Jolly Rancher in some ways. Pretty one dimensional in the aroma, but I’m pretty sure that’s what they wanted when they brewed it. Pretty hard to distinguish anything else in the aroma other than raspberries. Flavor is more raspberries, light sweetness which combines really well with the fruit flavor. Couldn’t drink more than 2-3 of these as the flavor would get a little tiresome. But still, pretty nice.
