Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy-handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus.

Small tan head thats short lived, little lace. Hazy copper/orange color. Nose is lightly woody, lightly hoppy, citrus with a little earthyness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, lightly oily, lightly astringent. Medium sweet malt flavors, bit much on the crystal malts, tea notes, faint woodiness, and earthyness, little musty. Lightly sweet finish, malty. More bitterness would of helped. Fairly lame for a GD product. Bottle procured @statelineliquors.

Draft at the Brass Tap: Poured a coppery color with a off white head. Aroma is hops and oak. Very balanced between the caramel malt, vanilla oak, and hops bitterness.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with light tan head and spotty lacing. The aroma is hoppy grapefruit and tangelo mixing with spicy oak and a sliver of malt sweetness. The taste hits with spicy oak, pine hops and then picks up smooth small rolling waves of grapefruit, tangelo, tangerine and tart pineapple. By midway and to the finish some of the hops and spicy oak resin fall back to reveal more wood notes and malty sweetness.

Pours dark, opaque honey golden-brown with a nice buff head. Aroma is hoppy and woody with a malty undertone and a citrus hint. Flavor has woody hop, orange, and malty tones, tasty if not spectacular. Mouthfeel has firm, viscous body and strong fizz. Get ready to rumble.

Flavor is barely an 8, and balance weighs this beer down a bit. There is some bitter, but the sweetness is a little too much. Not really tasting the oak in there as well. Clear light orange appearance. Overall thin in texture and appearance. Average at best and forgettable.

Clear copper/amber color with a foamy off white head. Sweet and spicy with caramel malt, grapefruit, pine and wet wood aromas. Sweet malts, citrus, pine with a hint of oak. Dry finish. The hops, malt and wood blend well together to make this a very interesting, balanced IPA.

    12oz bottle -

Aroma - light vanilla, brewed tea, medium aromatic hops, and a touch of toasted malt.

Appearance - clear, golden orange with a tight white head, decent retention and nice sticky lacing.

Mouthfeel - medium bodied, carbonation on the softer side...very smooth

Flavor - sweet, vanilla notes, grapefruit, a touch of oakiness and lemons on the finish.

Overall - a little too sweet/malt forward. I liked the wood aspect but the hops need to be amplified a bit more.

Vibrant copper pour producing a foamy head and thick, blanketing lacing. Medium bodied, faintly bitter, malts and hops are near balanced with one another. Smooth woody IPA producing traces of sweet toffee, oak, and fruity hops. Flowery goodness all around. Very enjoyable offering softened by some time in the wood.

Sampled on draft at Pete's. Pours copper with a creamy off-white head and remarkable lacing. Toasted malt and citrus hops equally prevelant in the aroma. Great bitterness without being harsh. Easy drinking. The oak is more subtle than I was expecting for a GD beer. Like it though. Good malt backbone though the hops dominate the flavor. Good stuff.
