Clear blood red with small redish/white foam head. Aroma is cherry, not too sour, more salty like the sea. Taste is sparkling little sour cherry taste. Aftertaste turning sweeter in time. (Velp 201306)

So.. purchased in Amsterdam, Oct 2010, bottle is from .. . Pours a dark tawny rad, medium foam, good lacing .. . aroma of cherry, funk, and wood infested with a beetle that farts berry dust .. . very light bitterness and dope fruit, light funk with a big sweetness, like really big .. . i wanted more fullness and less sweetness .. . little pea in 37 seconds, the serbian murderer on 23 minutes, 19th title- one point away, it really was a good day..

On tap at the GBBF 2008. Beautiful red colour, minimal pinkish head. Very nice cherry aroma. The flavour is also dominant cherries on a moderately sour background. Not too sweet, fairly light bodied.

Dark ruby red, thick pink head. Sweet black cherries in aroma with notes of wood and lactic acidity. Lot’s of black cherries in flavour. Hin’t of maringue, oak with a subtle tartness. Full and natural. Rich fruity aftertaste with traces of oak. Quite good!

Bottled. Orangered colour, nice reddish head. Sour cherry aroma. Sour cherry flavour, but yet very smooth. Lovely dry sour palate, long sourish aftertaste.

dark ruby colour with a little head and a correct lacing, deep cherry and wine-like aroma, well-structured, great sourness, very long aftertaste - great beer

Bottle: Poured a beautiful red colored beer with a huge head with excellent retention. Aroma is quite complex mix of lightly sweet cherries and some sourness. I was quite surprised by the balance between the cherries and the sourness as I drank this beer. Definitely a change from your juice/sugar added fruit lambic that are more commonly available to me. Wish I could drink some more of this wonderful drink.

Cork Marking 0205... Poured a ruby, garnet color with a medium sized pink head and light lacing on the glass. Buttery brett, vinegar, and sweet cherry aroma. Sweet dominated this, though a fair amount of balancing tartness is there as well. Cherry and light raspberry finish. A smooth, easy drinking kriek.
