this is a nice way to end the summer and start the fall - a nice aroma with a blend of chocolate and nuts, a clean taste and ends with a smooth finish.

An intriguing aroma of stale smoked malt with stinging hops, roasted nuts, and honey. Dark amber pour with a lasting creamy head and mild lacing. Medium bodied ale with a lingering bitterness. Flavors of burnt toast and nuts. Mild chocolate malt and bittering noble hops. Some off flavors of spruce and molasses. The English influence is recognized, this is an odd brown ale that was well received. Borders on an Old Ale and/or English Pale Ale, quite drinkable and an interesting brew for sure.

This is my second beer by Geary's and "I'm liken' it!" Not a Nut Brown Ale fan, but this beer poured exceptionally well with good head formation and retention. Nice nutty aroma, clean taste and balanced. Not bad.

Pours opaque brown with a reddish hue. Low tan head, mild lacing. Aroma is faint, mouthfeel full and a little chewy. Flavor is malty, nutty, with a bit of hop bite at the end. Solid all around, but lacking any distinguishing characteristics.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Cloudy brown color with small head. Arma of malt, chocolate and light hops. Taste was really nutty. I don’t know what kind, maybe pecans? Really tasty.

Pretty good. Brown color, medium-bodied with a small head. Not a strong aroma but a nice amount of spices, malt and a sweetness in the flavor. A solid beer for the fall season.
