Naughty Otter Lager is fun, refreshing, crisp -- our premium lager for any time of the year. Made with organic barley from the US Midwest and organic German hops, Naughty Otter is about relaxing, forgetting the stress of work, recovering from cutting the grass or just unwinding. This beer is partially filtered so it has a craft beer look and feel, it has an IBU of 24 which means it is hoppier than most domestic beers.

Can. Colour - pale gold, very clear, weak foamy white cap, very little lacing. Aroma - very malt forward with cereal and biscuit notes, weak eartyhy hops round out the nose. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated, quite crisp. Flavour - like the aroma the malt is the most dominant flavour in this beer with the hops coming through in the finish, but nowhere else.

The beer pours a translucent straw gold colour with a huge white bubbly head which quickly disippates. The aroma is very grainy with hints of floral hops and yeast. Quite basic aromas without any metallic or acidic notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very grainy with earthy hops. Again, nothing outstanding but thankfully no metallic or acidic flavours. -

Pours a very small foamy head and goes away fairly quickly. Leaves a very thin coating. Has a pale golden appearance. Aromas of grains, light malts and hints of hops. Has malty and fruity flavours with some notes of oranges. Pretty refreshing. Not too bad, but nothing to stand out amongst the others.

6-pack from the LCBO. Pours a clean light golden colour with minuscule particles floating around, as beer is partially filtered. Big frothy white head, good retention and some nice creamy lace. Fresh malt aromas with a hint of hops. The taste is quite grainy with cereal notes and the grass showing a little more. The bitterness is more present than a macro lager, but very well-blended with the malt. A very good micro lager that is refreshing for those who like the Steam Whistle. Nice and grainy.
