https://funkybuddhabrewery.com/our-beers/seasonal/sweet-potato-casserole Drop the dressing and ditch the pumpkin, Sweet Potato Casserole is fresh out of the oven and ready to party. This fall treat is just like moms used to make - only if moms had penchant for gooey marshmallow, fall spices, and gobs of sweet potato cavorting in one sinful glass. Bottoms up. Food pairings suggestions: Turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, and gravy. Pecan pie. Roast pork loin. Salsbury steak. Corned beef hash. Pumpkin pancakes with walnuts and maple syrup.

I would consider this something like an old ale or lighter imperial brown. Has a hazy light brown to orangish appearance. Flavors of sweet potato, marshmellow, and vanilla. Light to medium caramel malt with not that much hops. I like marshmellows and sweet potato casserole, but this is a little too sweet for me. Good beer for the season though, and to try something different.

Poured out a golden orange color with not much of a head. The aroma is very slight. The mouthfeel just above average. The taste is odd it's not bad but not anything special. If anything it reminds me of a creamsicle.

A murky orange colored beer with a two fingered off white head rising above. The sweetness of sweet potatoes and marshmellows are evident in the nose and more profoundly in the tasting. The tasting offers some cereal grain balance. A moderate to light bodied beer with a unique profile.
