Our Pale Ale is inspired by the great examples of the style from California. Cascade, Centennial and Citra hops contribute elegant floral and citrus hop flavors and aromas, which are gently supported by a lightly toasted malt character. Bold yet refreshing. California... knows how to party, or at least that's what Tupac and Dre would have you believe. California also knows how to eat kale, drive eco-friendly cars, wear Birkenstocks and make t-shirts out of hemp. Go figure. Beyond the contrasting cityscapes of South Central LA and Haight-Ashbury in San Fransisco, California has some of the most stunning Geography that an aspiring Adventurer can find. Co-founders Dan & Tom Lowe have spent plenty of time wandering the coastline, vineyards, mountains and breweries of California. The landscape and consequent lifestyle goes hand in hand with a lot of the industry coming out of that part of the world, and beer is certainly something that has taken a cue from the wide open spaces and fertile soils. Increasingly in recent years, the West Coast of the US has become known for tropical, flavoursome beers and our American Pale Ale takes its cue from some of the classics. We've canned the sunshine and injected it into British pubs and bottle shops for your enjoyment.
