Founding Fathers Lager is a full-bodied American Lager with rich amber color. A combination of both two and six row barley, a blend of three classic American hops from the Pacific Northwest, and a touch of roasted caramel malt will make this the new American favorite.

A dark golden to amber color with a white head. The aroma contains some corn and caramel, odd. The flavor is very light but not offensive with a slight dark malt presence. Well it beats the usual BMC suspects if nothing else *Shrug*

Conceptually, a good idea; I like the donation part of it. Specifically beer-wise, "medium" sums it up pretty well. Nothing grand or hateful about it, just a good average lager that's not the typical swill. Medium amber color with a medium white head. Balanced flavor, slightly grassy. Clean finish. Almost didn't buy it because it was located between the Bud Select and Bud Light Lime leading me to believe that it was a AB product, but I cannot find any indication that it is.

Cheap 6er I bought to celebrate Memorial Day weekend. Clear light amber pour with a short but tight white head, some lacing. Sweet light malty aroma, thin mouthfeel, typical American lager weak hops. Flavor is watery and a tad weak but not too unpleasant. East to drink. Forgettable except for the Patriotic label.

A light copper colored beer with a moderate sized off white head. Not much hang time and no lacing. The nose is faint. And like the tasting pretty singular dimensional. Sweet, biscuitry malt. Good bmedium body and as it wasms a nice smoothness are the high points. Overall a pretty decent drink.

Pours a nice coppery amber with an average but decent white head. Aroma is typical of a lager, but has strength and depth that I don't get from most pale lagers, having strong fruity notes as well as the expected lager aroma. Flavor is malty and somewhat fruity, more rounded than most lagers and quite pleasing. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth and firm with a good amount of fizz. Definitely worth seeking.

Pours a dark amber with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is light but pleasant. Taste is full bodied with a slight metallic taste that goes away after a second. Overall a very good lager. Something to drink other than the usual swill plus the money goes to charity. Whats not to like? Will drink again and again. Unfortunate they are only based here in MN and not brewed here. My bottles were brewed in Pennsylvania.
