12oz bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin dark tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a bit of chocolate malts, light black licorice spiciness, earthy spicy hops and some pine hops. The taste starts off with dark roasted malts, earthy malty sort of hops, black licorice and some resiny pine hops. To midway a nice chocolate note comes to the surface amid all the spicy and resiny hops and modest dark roasted malt notes. Pretty nice brew.

On tap at Café Sara, Oslo. Very dark mahogany with a tan head. Hoppy and fairly roasty aroma with citrus, dark chocolate, pine and hints of tropical fruits and herbs. Mefium sweet with hoppy and roasty flavours and a nice bitterness. Decent stuff.
