I had this beer at the Hilton Garden Inn bar located on Capital Blvd. (just outside Raleigh, North Carolina). So here's the deal - I HATE fruit beers. The only reason I tried it is because it was the only thing behind the bar I hadn't had before. I don't like these beers, but for what it is, it was a nice job. It could be refreshing (if you like this beer), it is light and fruity. I wouldn't have again ... but that's just me.

Strong aroma is almost totally of sweet strawberry, with just a hint of malt. It pours a rather nice clear dark amber with a thick ivory white head. Strawberry dominates the flavor, which is otherwise just malty, OK if not exciting. Body is average, and so is the fizz. Not their best, but worth a try if you like strawberries.

Pours a clear light yellow/amber with a slight ruby tinge and little head or lacing. Big strawberries upfront in the aromas that overwhelm everything else. Taste is tart strawberries with a decent malt presence. Light and fruity.

Bottle at the Charlotte airtport. Very nice strwberry aroma, I was expecting something artificial but it is not. Pale yellow like any pale lager. Good tingly palate. Flavor is also not artificial as I was expecting. Not bitter at all. Friendly finish, one of the better fruit beers I’ve tasted. Good session beer for a fruity. Pleasantly surprized!
