Cask; Seasonal - October to April. Has been available occasionally in bottle. Exmoor Beast is a dark beer which is brewed with liberal use of chocolate and crystal malts. The beer has the characteristics of a strong Porter, whilst retaining the typical Exmoor taste - a superb blend of malt and hops with a complex long aftertaste. Ingredients: Pale malt, crystal malt, chocolate malt. Challenger, Fuggles and Goldings whole hops.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown with a slim tan head. Aroma has roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, butter - make that peanuts. Taste is chocolate, dark malts, coffee. Very nice, long bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Damned fine stuff.
