In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance. Ingredients: water, malts, hops, yeast.

Pours out a cloudy gold color with a thick white head. The aroma smells like hops and alcohol. The mouthfeel is thick but a little bitter. The taste is spice, malt and hops it's sort of a Belgium style but no sweetness.

On tap @ 10 East -
I was really digging this one on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Honey aroma, crisp apples, grass clippings, Belgian-y esters with just a slight tangyness to it. Spice/yeast content was well balanced, light, clean bitterness from beginning to end with a refreshing grassy bitterness to enjoy. I'm usually not a huge fan of saisons but this was easy to enjoy. -

A cloudy yellow colored beer with a big fluffy textured white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. Nice lacing left behind. Pepper dominates in the profile. Some fruitiness, bready malt and yeast. Light, effervescent and refreshing.

Started off a little ho hum in the nose, especially compared to the ron and the beast ryan awesomeness. But, it opened up nicely to become a nice lightly funky and peppery fruity peachy brew. A little understated, but that's ok.

Comes out of the bottle a clear solar yellow with a thick, if not persistent, white head. OK, this is a saison, so give it a break. Strong, malty aroma has fruity and yeasty notes and a butterscotch hint. Yummy flavor is mainly malty with an undertone of sour apple and hints of yeast and butterscotch, the latter very slight but noticeable if you have a good tongue. Texture has above average body and a firm tingle, leaving a nice malty and slightly sour finish. Beast-er Bunny indeed!

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, bitterness, some mild hay and earth. Flavour is wooden, fruity, rather hoppy along with some slight spicyness. A bit too hoppy for my taste.
