2001 GABF Silver Medal - 2003 NABA Silver Medal, 2004 WBC Bronze Medal. Victory Pale Ale is all about the hops. It is full of big hop flavor, aroma and bitterness, which are all supported by substantial malt character. Light amber pour with a thick white head. Not too much in the way of appearance or aroma however the flavor was nicely hoppy with a pleasant citrus finish.

I had this beer at a bar in the Hancock building in Chicago on April 11, 2012. This beer as also quite ordinary; however, the hops were present in a big piney way.

Maybe not their flagship, but for sure a repeat medal winner as mentioned by the barkeep. clear copper with an off white frothy top. Aroma is midly hopped but taste is suprisngly firm yet super clean. Noticeable pine and a little spice near the finish. A very solid APA.
