Much like the local icon it is named for, our version of the popular American Pale Ale has a bold character. Derived from a generous use of premium 2-row Pale malt, we add a healthy addition of hops both in the kettle and the finishing tank.

Had on draft @ Zeno's Pub, in State College, PA, USA .. i was the only person there .. . happy to get to try a couple of elk creek beers seeing as i couldn't make it tot the brewpub .. . pours a medium gold .. light bitterness .. nicely balanced .. a good quick beer .. . . It's not your fault, Homer. It's those lousy writers. They make me madder than a... um... yak in heat!
