Pours a medium dark cold with no head. The aroma is a sweet malt almost flowery smell. The mouthfeel has a zing but not bitter. The flavor is okay not very deep or complex.

Clear dark ruby with small off-white foam head. Aroma is caramel with chessnut flavors. Taste is nice bittersweet with nuts again. Aftertate is dry nice bitter. (Velp 201212)

A orange-amber colored beer with a big foamy textured, off white head rising robustly above. There's some hang time. It settles eventually into a medium ringlet and splotches of film. Malt sweetness, woodsy aroma. Grass and some citric-spiciness in the tasting. A light-medium bodies beer. Really pretty good.

Pours out in a crystal clear pale nut brown colour with a dense off-white head. Toasted malts, spicy hops, biscuits and grass in the bright aroma. Medium to full-bodied with notes of toasted malts, nuts, peppery hops and grass. Solid body and mouthfeel. Long finish of grassy and spicy hops, solid toasted malts, nuts and crackers. Nice one and my favorite from Einbecker.

Thanks to quaternio for this one. Pours a clear reddish-brown with a small white head. Smells of malts, wood, alcohol and maybe licorice. The taste is similar to the smell. Great for the style but not my favorite.

Another classic German beer to roll me from the good times at Oktoberfest in Wisconsin to those at Bockbierzeit in Bamberg; thanks to my pal bluesandbarbq. Poured a deep amber-gold with a foamy off-white head. Aromas of freshly-roasted grain, fruity hay and wood. Smooth palate; sweet malts dominate, with lingering flavors of caramel and hard cider ending lightly bitter. MUSIC: Louis Jordan's 'Let the Good Times Roll' by Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown; oh and what the hell - B.B.'s version too

A deep amber color with a nice, creamy light tan head that leaves lots of tight lacing. Aroma is sweet malty and a little fruity with roasted nuts, raisins, dates and even hint of bananas. Some carbonation. Malty sweet taste then strong nutty and slight bitterness in the end. Good bock.

Pours a deep amber colour, carries along nice sized full tan head. aroma of roasted nuts, malts and wood. I imagined it to be a little thicker that it was.

Not terribly bad. Its a little dark in flavor for my preference, but I was able to sample it from Phishpond417. It poured a dark copper color and was slightly dry.

Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet caramellish malts, alcohol and a bit dark fruits. Flavour is alcohol, weak roastiness, A decent Bockbeer.
